National Board of Examinations (NBE) chairman Dr. Abhijat Sheth has said that the new exam date for the NEET PG 2024 entrance exam will be announced: “hopefully before the next weekend”.
The NEEP PG 2024 entrance examination was unexpectedly postponed on June 22, just hours before the scheduled date. According to Dr Sheth, the Ministry of Education (MoE) is reviewing a plan for the NEET PG Examination 2024 new date, and applicants for this exam can expect the process to be completed within two months.
Throwing light on the reason for canceling NEET PG, Mr. Seth said the exam was canceled just hours before the scheduled time as the ministry wanted to check the robustness of the NEET PG Entrance 2024 examination process and get assurance that there were no loopholes in the process.
He said that there has been no report of any paper leak or any other kind of lapse. NBE has been conducting the NEET PG exam properly for the last seven years and till now no case of paper leak has been received from NBE.

Due to the leak of the NEET UG 2024 paper, the board is trying to correct its process so that this does not happen in NEET PG, that is why this exam has been postponed now.
All the candidates who are going to take this exam should keep preparing because their new exam date of NEET PG will be released very soon.
Dr Sheth explained that the CBT (Computer-Based Test) format of the NEET PG exam makes it highly secure, with the question paper of the NEET PG 2024 Exam being generated just an hour before the start of the exam. However, the decision to postpone of NEET PG Exam 2024 was influenced by the sensitivity of the situation and the earlier cancellation of other exams like NEET UG 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
At this time the exam has been postponed by the board so that there is no paper leak or any other kind of problem in this exam.
